Here are 5 places that I have my sights set on for future travels and I’m dreaming away about the things I want to do there. I’m starting to think about how I would work in these trips within the next year or so and it’s all very exciting to think about all the possibilities.
Seeing the pyramids is a bucket list item for most travelers and I am no different. I am fascinated by the history in Egypt and would love to explore, not just the pyramids, but also Luxor temple and The Valley of Three Kings. I’ve seen a lot of trips on Intrepid, On the go tours and other companies that offer Egypt trips which really interest me and I’m hoping to maybe go on one next year. I also would love to go on an Egypt trip that includes a trip to Jordan to see Petra and swim in the Dead Sea. This is the one I’m looking at for next June potentially.
Italy has always been a dream destination for the city sightseeing across lots of different places. Venice looks really interesting and beautiful, as well as Rome and Florence. The history draws me to a Pompeii visit as well and I just think there is so much to see! I also love the beach so a trip to the Amalfi coast during my visit would be nice. Not to even mention, my dream food selection. Just think of all the pizza, pasta and gelato…
The idea of flying to literally the other side of the world is very appealing to me in the sense of wanting to run away and it just so happens that Australia is a fascinating and beautiful country. One of my absolute bucket list dreams is to go diving at the Great Barrier Reef, but in my research for things to do I found so many things. I want to kayak under the harbor bridge in Sydney. I want to take a surfing lesson on Bondi Beach. I want to see koalas and kangaroos. I want to go on hikes and walk on the beach and explore the cities. I want to do it all.

This fairytale location is #Caux, a village high above the @montreuxriviera. It’s often referred as the balcony of Lake Geneva due to its stunning views of the #lake and nearby #Alps. Not only is it a treat for the eyes, but for the soul too – so it’s no surprise that Caux is an important #healthresort. Finally, the village is also a great place to stretch your legs, being the ideal starting point for a trip into the surrounding mountains – such as a hike around the Rochers de Naye, the local mountain of Montreux. Thanks for the great aerial view, @deensel
Most of the places on my list have typically hot weather, but this is the exception. I want to go to Switzerland. Everything I’ve seen about this country is breathtaking. I want to see the Matterhorn and enjoy that scenery, but I also want to explore new cities and see some of the beautiful castles.
5. The Galapagos Islands
This is a big one for me. I love animals and it’s such a bucket list thing for me to see the giant tortoises on the Galapagos. The itineraries of trips that I’ve been looking at include snorkeling with Galapagos sharks and turtles or hikes up to volcanoes and it is honestly my dream trip. I hope I get to go one day!!
